Long tasting menus need a chair that holds the body comfortably for three hours. The Forest Tub wraps the guest in a continuous upholstered shell with low arms, so elbows are supported without the arms clashing with the table edge. Shown in a forest-green woven wool with a cognac leather welt and slim brass tapered legs.
Arm height is set below a standard 74–76 cm table so the chair can be drawn in close, and the seat height is 46 cm for dining rather than lounging. The shell is a hardwood frame with shaped high-resilience foam, upholstered in one piece so there are no seams on the inside of the curve to open up.
Use it at round tables, on the open side of banquettes or as the host chair in private dining.
